ZBrush with Tablet

Im new into both ZBrush and pen tablet. So I will have some quesitons in time.

And here is the first one:

Pressure is working well with brushes, but i dont want it with mask brush, i mean when i hold down ctrl key and draw some masks, i don want any pressure effect at it. How can i turn it off for it?

anyone?

Do you mean you dont want a soft edge or you dont want size jitter?

just make sure your RGB intensity is at 100 and you’ll get solid masks.

ı mean when i use mouse with same settings i can get result that i want, but when i use pen i have to draw so strongly to get the same result with mouse.

@fenrir406 I tried that as you see but still the same :confused:

Go to Preferences > Tablet and turn off ‘Use Tablet’ button. Your pen will then act like a mouse. You could also do a Custom UI and drag the button to a convenient spot.

But I want to use pressure with brushes, just dont want to only wth mask. Isnt there anyway to do that?

mask=button off…brushes=button on.

You can also assign a hotkey to the ‘Use Tablet’ button.

where is that option, im sorry really new wth this :slight_smile:

can u give a screenshot?

Your tablet pressure is controlled by two things. Your wacom settings (if that is the tablet you are using) and the pen pressure in your Zbrush brush settings. You can toggle Zbrush to use global settings from your Wacom preferences or you can fiddle with the settings manually in Brush>Tablet Pressure.
