Zbrush/Wacom Intuos Pro: Navigation Problem

Hello,

I’m using Wacom Intuos Pro with Zbrush, I configured my pen buttons as CTRL+R click and ALT+L click to scale and move easily as in 3D Coat. Now I can move and scale -hovering- but there’s a problem;

Most of the time (80%) when I scale or move, the model (or view) jumps back to initial position or even worse further or closer than it’s initial position. There’s some random zooming and panning going on. It rarely works properly. Though I can scale or move with actual keys on the keyboard without this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I also had the chance to try it with a Cintiq on a different version of Zbrush, no luck. I’ve tried to simulate it with mouse and realize that when I let ALT or CTRL go early while moving the mouse; I get the same effect. So could it be the pen button modifier letting the key go early? Yet there’s no problem with other software.

But with the Wacom 3D and ZBrush Core. mousing seems to work, but trying to zoom, etc. with the tablet gives unpredictable results

For me, at least, it was switching off the “touch” on my tablet. The Intuos isn’t smart enough to recognize your hand resting on the tablet and interprets it as a click.

It’s having the problem again. Even sometimes with the mouse, it will just decide to zoom where it wants and not pay attention to what I’m asking it to do
