Hi Brant. Would it not be better to use the likes of Digital Tutors or even Youtube to get started?

I’ve been doing lots of tutorials. Ive posted questions here. But so far haven’t gotten any answers to them yet. 
I follow the tutorials and sometimes I can get things to work and other times it doesn’t. Just seems like if i had someone next to me who knew what they were doing could save me a lot of headache and grief.
Like just now I was using my brush like normal. Then i went to the move tool and turned on mask by polygroups in automasking under brush. I used move for a while and now when I go back to the clay buildup or something it doesnt work any more. I have to save and restart zbrush to get it to work again. Is this a 64 bit issue? Sholuld I switch to the 32 bit version?
I’m going to give the forum another try and post this question on its own. I would be super grateful for any help.
