ZBrush training DVD/CD, which is recommended?

Within a few days I’m planning to buy ZBrush for my Mac. At the moment I’m orientating for a very good training CD/DVD that will get on track fast and good, a training that will learn me the program from the inside out. I hate manuals, and in the past I learned working with Photoshop in a couple of days with the help of a training cd, so… There’re a lot of ZBrush training options to choose from;

(and prob. many more…)

My question is; I wonder if anyone can recommend me one?!

B.t.w., I’m a Photo-realistic illustrator working mainly in Photoshop. ZBrush seems a fantastic tool for my job.

Thanks. :+1:

I’d recomend http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/rki01.html

and make sure to do all the classroom tutorials first.

Good Luck

As for videos it’s a toss up between Ryan Kingslien’s Introduction to Zbrush 3 on Gnomon Tutorials and Meats Meyer’s Gnomon Tutorial. Meats is more attuned to the use of Zbrush as a 2 ( or 2.5) D graphics package, while Ryan is more oriented to using Zbrush as a sculpting tool, so I’d get Ryan’s myself.

Also I really like this $30 download video by Ryan…I’m thinking of buying it soon;

Thank you! :+1:

I just found Meats Meier’s site (http://www.3dartspace.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1). He has put his ZBrush “Introduction to Zbrush 3” training online for free in full res. HD format! What a great thing to do, and many thanks to Meats for this. :+1: :+1: :+1:
