Zbrush Topology Editing Lost

Hello,

I’ve been retopologizing my mesh in Zbrush for several hours now with the edit topology option/Rigging. I made sure to save numerous times throughout the process and I took a break and when I came back and restarted my file, the retopologized mesh that ive been working on is gone and no where to be found. If i dont make a skin before quitting will it just be lost even though you save? It shows up in the quicksave area and I even have the save file but when I load it up its just a zsphere with nothing attached. Does anyone know how to fix this or get all my work back? Please help. lol
Thank you for your time.

There is a third patch(P3), not saying that’s the magic bullet…

ZBrush is also not saving my projects even when I save then. Only quicksave works, I posted about this a couple days ago but nobody responded. I am going to see if the problem persists on a new project, if it does I am going to try and re-install.
The problem started for me after deleting my user zdata folder to fix the noisemaker crash bug. It saves if I save under a new name but ZBrush will not overwrite existing files. It kinda sucks

Little update on this. Been busy but I finally remembered to do some testing and it seems ZBrish’s inability to save by certain processes was isolated to my one project. Starting a new project everything functions normally, so seemingly it was some sort of corruption or “off-setting” of that one project. Next large project I get into will tell the tale though.
