Zbrush to Maya help!

I’m having a hard time trying to manually set-up displacement maps in maya. When I use GoZ it sets up my displacements perfectly, but I’ve got a scene with many objects and I don’t want to use GoZ for every object.

I sent a file to maya using GoZ and it set up the alpha gain properly, the value it gave me was “8.901” but when I manually try to set up the displacement map how do I calculate the alpha gain?
The displacement intensity in zbrush says “0.0309” but based on that information alone how do I calculate the alpha gain?

I’d appreciate some advice on how to properly setup displacements in maya.

Try this tutorial. It’s kinda old but you’ll get a better idea of how to manually hook things up.
