zbrush to maya displacement problem

hi…i’ve got a problem in zbrush to maya displacement

i created the displacement map and rendered it in maya…the map was correctly assigned but there was a detail loss…what should i do?..
you can see the both pictures rendered in zbrush and maya …

here’s the zbrush rendering

here’s the maya rendering …there you can see a detail loss than zbrush rendering

mainly around [color=SandyBrown]eyelids , bottom lip & the bottom of the legs [begining of the shoes] we can see a little bit of detail loss…plez tell me how to fix this    thanx in advance

plez help me friends

Did you make your displacement map with ZMapper, or the regular old-school displacement map way? If you used the latter, you might try using in Photoshop, Image>adjustments> auto contrast. It makes your map really high contrast looking, but it has helped me get good results, it might mean using smaller alpha gain values in Maya, but whatever it works.
If you used Zmapper, I don’t know, I’m still intimidated by it, but not for long…
