Zbrush symmetry help

Hey, I was using Zbrush recently to add detail to a character that I exported from Maya. Unfortunately, the symmetry axis isn’t in the middle of my character. Does anyone know how to shift the axis of symmetry?

Clicking the S.Pivot button will temporarily set the pivot point to the center of the visible mesh. This affects symmetry and deformations. You can later use C.Pivot to clear the pivot point and return to the original.

I’m not sure where the s.pivot and c.pivot are.

thanks for the help.

did that work for you?

yeah it worked but I’m having trouble getting rid of the added blocks once in zbrush.

you are just making hard of yourself. select the 2 polygons along the symmetry/center and just hide the others. and the S.Pivot.

Just ignore them till you export to obj then delete them in max or Maya. Easy.
