Im trying to sculpt on a certain subtool and as I sculpt, zbrush switches to subtools below it by itself. Im using a wacom and im pretty sure im not pressing anything other than alt and using the pen.
Turn off ‘Auto Select Subtool’ in Preferences > Edit and see if that fixes it.
now its doing it when im just clicking things with a mouse in the ui. im gonna see if theres a newer wacom driver.
Did you ever get zbrush to stop switching, my zbrush started doing that today…I updated my drivers, but it still doing it.
dude, for me it randomly fixed itself. the best way to combat it is to make the subtool you want to mess with on the lowest level. like just move it down so that its impossible for it to move to a lower subtool and it should be fine.
