zbrush sweater tutorial?

Hi,

I’m wondering if anyone has a real good zbrush sweater or wool tutorial. I found pretty much the fabric I’d like to model my sweater after. It’s here:

This almost looks great but I’d like a bit thicker of a thread than this so I want to be able to create this. It looks like it’s just a black and white image that use with zbrush. However, I’ve seen others do the same with not as great success so I’d like to see someone’s tried and true process from beginning to end. If not, it’s only 5 bucks and I can buy the image.

So are they using projection master or spotlight or what? Are there any good tutorials out there?

Thanks,

RD

(Side Note that is unrelated to creating your own: You might even be able to get that one for free. A while ago they had a 5-for-free deal when creating an account, though they might have dropped it down to two free ones. Just slap it on with noise maker and you’re good to go)

Oh hey, that’s neat, thanks! Maybe the psd file will still have layers and it will shed light on how to recreate it.

They don’t, it’s just a single layer. They get their surfaces through photometric scans.
