Hello,
I have an idea, you could call it the “mesh compensate” button, it makes mesh topology change according to sculpting demands.

If you stress a mesh in + or - the topology changes to maintain the integrity of the model.

eg you make a poly mesh sphere, and sculpt so deep that it makes a topological hole. If you pull a part of the mesh so far it automatically adds edge loops to compensate.

What you’re describing is sort of like what Sculptris does. :slight_smile:
