Zbrush Smoothing out my Geometry

My problem is im losing detail when going back and forth between Maya and Zbrush. I have a polymesh that ive retopologized with decent detail in the geometry, and im bringing it into zbrush to refine some forms, trouble is when i bring it back into maya, everything has been giving a slight smooth out, and thats losing me valueble detail.

Ideas?

are you dividing the model in Zbrush? that will smooth the model unless you turn off “smt” before you divide. tool>geometry>smt
