Hi, I’m new here. I have two laptops and I want to install zbrush on my two laptops. However, I just saw that you have single license. Do I have to buy separate license in my two laptops?
The Zbrush license let’s you activate the software on two computers. I’ve got one copy activated on my home computer and one on my Surface Pro.
The license also allows you to deactivate a license online so if you need to transfer it to another computer, it’s no problem. For example, I used to have a deactivated copy of Zbrush installed on my work computer. When business got slow I would remote desktop into my home computer, deactivate it then activate my work computer then at the end of the day I would reverse it.
Just to make it a little clearer, you can have 2 separate computers with Zbrush activated at a time. However you can only use one at a time. So you can use one on your work computer and home computer, just can’t use Zbrush at the same time. However if you have a Mac license you cannot put it on a Windows computer and vice versa. In that case you would have to purchase another license. Windows and Mac use different licensing for Zbrush so if you switch from one to the other you’d have to get a different license, usually through trade or buy.
My other laptop don’t have cd. How can I install zbrush on that laptop?
If it’s networked you can simply copy the installer across your network.
If it’s not networked you can copy the installer to a USB stick and then from that to the computer where you’re going to install.
