I was wondering how ZBrush will work with Apple’s new Fusion drives. Will the Fusion drive be able to detect that the scratch disk should be written to it rather than the HDD. Bearing in mind that the Fusion drive is designed to only keep 4GB as a permanent ‘landing spot’ and ZBrush requires 16GB, but if ZBrush requests 16 GB the I wonder if space will be made for it on the SSD.
Thanks for any insight into this.
EDIT: also if I have a lot of available ram (32GB) would that mean that Zbrush would use the RAM instead of a scratch disk anyway?
