Zbrush quads are warping

I imported a simple mesh into Zbrush today. My goal is to actually stay at a very basic level (subD1 i guess) to model, that is the look I am going for - I will not be dividing this model further. The issue is that the quads will start to bend and warp in zbrush.

Is this a real-time rendering issue and the geometry is actually OK? Or is the geometry bending like in the pic.

Are there any tips for keeping the polygons very flat, so I can continue to model at this level?

That is because the way your 3d app handles extremeley distorted polygons, the 3d app has to triangulate the quad to allow you to distort it. Zbrush’s method to triangulate it differs from your 3d app, so, what you see in the 3d app might not be equal as in zbrush
