Will I (a real newby at this) need an additional program to scale and save zbrush scupts for 3D printing?
Nop. You can do your 3D print file in STL or WRL (VMRL) ready to print inside Zbrush.
But… There are also free tools you might need to check your figures before send to printers. I recommend Netfabb and Meshlab
How about a list of printers and suppliers with ratings as to quality… I am close to buying a Form1 seems to be a good buy or does anyone have other suggestions…
Ziggy
I suggest doing about a half a dozen projects through a service that uses the printer/s you’re looking into getting. If the quality and price is within your expectations and you do enough projects to make up for the costs then I would purchase the printer.
