zbrush plugins, platform dependent?

Hi all, I notice there are quite a few zbrush user plugins around, are these platform dependent, Win Mac etc or are they script based to work on both platforms?

still undecided on a Mac or Windows install of zBrush, this might be the decider,

cheers, Rob

Anything after May 2007 is going to be for 3.1 and therefore PC unless it specifically states otherwise.

Thanks for the reply aurick
as we know, the mac and windows releases zbrush will be concurrent going forward from Sep 30 (at least that’s what I understand?)
my main enquiry was as to the nature of plugins, as to whether they are necessarily platform dependent or if they are script based and therefore useable on both installs of zbrush?
or maybe a mixture of both?

any zbrush plugin developers around, could you shed some light on this for me please,

cheers, Rob

are your main concerns>
1.Zapplink
2.Subtool master
3.Transpose master

i would hazard a guess that mac osx 3.12 will ship at the end of the month but those scripts/pligins may not be there on sept29th but should follow thru
soon ‘if’ they need to be re written for mac osx

until we hear back on exactly what’s platform independant you may come down on the windows side for now if you have a choice as the plugins are already here.
