Zbrush on iMac?

So I am SLOWLY learning zbrush and I am in need of a new machine to run it properly. My PC is about 6 years old and I cannot subdivide much without it bogging down. So I am thinking about getting a Mac to replace it. The Mac Pros are pretty pricey so I was wondering if an iMac would run it if it was maxed out with ram and running the new 64bit Snow Leopard OS.

Thoughts? Anyone using a Mac for there sculpts? Any info is mucho appreciated!!

A lot of people use the Mac for ZBrush.

In your situation, the biggest catch will be that it sounds like you have a PC license. That means you’ll need to migrate your license to the Mac, which isn’t going to be free. You should submit a ticket at http://support.pixologic.com to find out your options regarding this.
