ZBrush on an Intel Mac Book???

Hi there,

I’m new to ZBrush. So new, in fact, that I haven’t actually bought it yet!

Before I do, I’d like to know if ZBrush 3 for Mac (latest release) will operate well on my Mac Book Pro. Well, as in not crashing all the time and not being excruciatingly slow.

The laptop has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, with 4GB of RAM running Mac OSX 10.5.5. The graphics card is a NVIDIA GEForce 8600 GT and the resolution of the LCD is 1440 x 900.

Does that sound like ZBrush and my Mac would be friends?

Would greatly appreciate any advice.

ZBrush should perform great on your system.

I have MacBook Pro with the same characteristics and Zbrush works perfectly.

Guess I better get out the credit card then. I’m a total newbie at this stuff. I can draw and animate (2D) but ZBrush is a new horizon.
