Hi Ive just tried to follow the subtool master Video tutorial.
When i follow with my 2 subtools i keep failing,while the guy cleans his split seam up every time i watch it.

I have a Fin and a body i would like to go back together again without the seam ,they have 5 levals of displacement.
They were created in 3.5 but i brought them back into 3.1(object levals lowest & highest) as separate subtools specificlly to use subtool master plugin,as i understand that you cant sculpt the seam away in 3.5.
I must have made a mistake somewhere in exporting the 4 objects to 3.1,like export selection?
As i keep following the video and when i try to smooth the seams away ,the seams stay,but the details go on the mesh instead?
I am of course trying to get all of my mesh parts back into one piece to get into maya.

Can I also ask if you have a object with multiple uv sets as I have 2,When you break them up with grp split,do you do the detailing then render all dispalcements.
Then if my Head and inside of the mouth are on the seperate uv space
Do you need to attach in back to the body as one.
Will you still get another seam around the head/neck area.(to body seam)
Im a little confused as the idea i thought of grp splitting the mesh was to render out the maps all seperatly .For a multi uv space object.
Do i nead to merge it all back together? or use the whole original mesh export it to maya,and set up the maps for rendering.
Sorry if i come across to you confused,i guess if i am right about the second question it makes my 1st mout .
