ZBrush "Lite"

I was just thinking that it would be cool to have a sort of “lite” version of ZBrush that could run on the PocketPC or Color Palm Pilot for sketching/tool modeling on the go. Then you could load those tools into the full-version of ZBrush when you get home. Don’t know if it could happen at the level of today’s hand-held technology though.

I was remembering that someone at ZAcademy had done a picture of ZBrush running on a hand-held. Seems to me it was Kruzr, but I’m probably wrong.

Wow now that would be some serious GUI changes and I can’t imagine the code changes…

Someone had a full copy of ZBrush on a palm!?!?

I gotta hear about this one.

Heh, that was some of Southern’s sense of humor. It would be pretty cool, although I can’t see it being very practical with such a small screen, you would have to break out the electron microscope.

Whew!

Man, I thought I had slipped on my hardware studies. I didn’t think this was viable or even possible.

I swear for a minute I forgot to watch a Science Daily episode!

Thanks Digits.

Hi WingedOne . . . I think Digits is right, I think it was Southern. Thanks Digits.

Hey Kat . . . I’m using ZBrush with my “Palm” without any problems . . . I’m also using PhotoShop & Painter 6 with the same palm. Heheheh.

Have a good one you guys . . . Mark.

Ah, well. I guess until the day comes, my trusty Swathmore sketchbook, ruler, compass, triangle, protractor, french curve and multi-colored mechanical pencils will have to serve as my ZBrush “Lite”.

When I get a chance, I’ll have to scan some of my sketches in and post them over at the community forum.

CoolBeans Winged, I’d like a peak at your sketchbook.

Mark…you are a certified nut. One of my favorites though. So rock on.
