hello everyone
i am new to z brush and i am a full time student (a chemical engineering student to be more precise) and want to learn Z brush as a hobbie and learn it thoroughly…
can anyone comment on the learning curve… i want to design things like they show in the z brush getting started guide(yes those awesome jaw dropping models)… i have some C4d experience and i can spare 1-2 hours a day(on week days) and 6 hours ion weekends. i am an absolute beginner and i have no clue about anything in z-brush… how long will it take assuming i have an average grasping power(or whatever)
The learning curve really varies from person to person. Provided you don’t fight ZBrush by trying to force it to behave like an animation package, you should be able to grasp the basics quite quickly and be really comfortable with the program in a couple weeks. There’s a lot of depth, though, so you’ll always be able to be learning something new if you apply yourself!
To begin, check out the links in my signature. Especially the Getting Started guide.
