I have a file that I have been working with for a long time, and I had no problems with it before. The size hasn’t really changed, it’s been around the same number of polys for a while (22 mil). Before, each time I saved only took about 4-5 seconds, now I think it takes like a minute and a half. I uninstalled and reinstalled Zbrush and the problem went away, but it came back. I had files a lot bigger that saved just fine before too (and they have problems now as well). What could be wrong?
Hey Znub, You probably already know this! But have you tried disabling ‘Undo History’ when saving projects, see if the long save times persist.
Another thing to check for is old meshes stored in your tools list, delete the ones you don’t need, see if that helps too.

Since the problem started suddenly without me changing any settings, I would rather not change anything. It’s gotta be something else. As for the tools, it’s not that because I try to keep it tidy and not have anything I don’t need open. Thank you.
It could still be the Save history, unless you already disabled it or cleared the old history. If not, it eventually it gets so big that loading times bog down. Just clear the old history and take it from there.
I recommend turning off the save of undo history too. The file size and save speed benefits are great and I’ve never missed it.

I cleaned the ZBrush Temp , VMem and Quicksave then I went to :
Preferences -> Mem -> CompactNow
I let ZB processed then restart it.
