Hey guys,
I have a bit of an issue that some of you may be able to help me with. It concerns Zbrush destroying my UV’s on my exported meshes. This problem has been happening across multiple computers, using multiple software packages (XSI, 3DMax, Maya) and multiple meshes. This leads me to believe that there is a problem in my export/import methods and not corrupt geometry. I’ve included screen grabs to help illustrate the problem. Here’s my pipe:

UV the low res geo in Maya/Roadkill

Export the geo out of Maya

Import the geo into Zbrush and replace at level 1.
Theoretically, Zbrush should keep the UV’s and apply them to the model at any division level, however Zbrush immediately destroys them even before I divide. The mesh however, does divide well which means my vert order should be solid.
If anyone has run into this problem or can see any issues with the way I’m going about this, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
