I am quite new to zbrush/3d sculpting and I was wondering about something. What shape should you start with if you are sculpting a human body and drawing all muscles on the mesh?

Any shape!
You could cut your teeth on a basic, premade basemesh (some can be found here). Scott Eaton had a great series showing how he uses one here.
You could pull a human from a sphere using dynamesh, or use zspheres/zsketch to block out a form.
Ryan Kingslien has several great tutorials showing different ways to sculpt people / anatomy. You can see his maquette technique at http://www.isculptstuff.com/ , and probably several other methods on youtube.
