Zbrush + Hand Painted texures?

Hi Guys,

I’ve seen a lot of inspiring zbrush sculpting work lately. With the sculpting part aside and I know that spotlight is an amazing tool for projection painting from photographs. I’m just wondering if you have links/images of your favourite hand-painted (preferably) textures that were solely/mostly created in Zbrush? (zapplink aside)

I’m wondering on whether to purchase Mari, but I’d prefer to stick with zbrush and see what others and I can get out of it from a colouring texturing viewpoint.

Thanks for any feedback!

I’m new to Zbrush and have just started doing a lot of experimenting with the polypainting aspects of the program to try and make my own determinations of it’s capabilities. So far, I’m just taking planes or some of the tools that come with Zbrush to paint on. I’ve seen a lot of great painting work done in Zbrush though but I don’t have any links to specific examples. From what I’ve seen though, it seems the programs painted tools are about as good as the artists skills can take them.

I’d still love to see some UV’d models that were texture painted in Zbrush (at least the majority of the work done inside zbrush).

The skill of the artist applies to any program.
