Hello everyone, I am new to Zbrush and have been experiencing a problem with the program freezing up every time I paste a uv on a model. I think I am doing all the steps right shown UV Master Tutorial, but no matter what I do it still freezes up after I paste the uvs, my pointer shows the little “Z” in a circle below it like the program is calculating, but never finishes. I made the base mesh in 3ds Max 2010 and was going to do the rest in ZBrush to try it out. Am I overlooking anything, or is it a bug?

what’s the Polycount of your model?
The model has 160 k polys
That’s your problem right there.
That’s a heavy mesh for any application to deal with, especially when it comes to UV’s. Up to about 80.000 Polys i was able to do a copy and paste of the UV’s after that ZB refused to do it, at least on my comp.

it seems to freeze up on me to, i primarily use it for lopoly characters at work and about every 10 character, it will freeze up. It will continually freeze up for that particular character, however after troubleshooting (cleaning mesh, checking normals ect) it continuse to do it, if anyone has found another resolution please share!
