I have had the Zbrush 30 day trial for a few days now and it was working fine, but when i went on it last night it comes up with the starting screen but never says initializing zbrush, it then stays on this screen and I can not close the program without logging off / shutting down. Can anyone help me?
No program will just spontaneously stop working. Something has happened on your computer that is now preventing ZBrush from working.
What has changed since the last time it worked?
Have you added a plugin or some other startup item? Have you updated your computer in some way? Have you tried scanning for viruses?
the only thing I can remember doing is downloading a matcap from the matcap library i’ll try deleting it
That most likely is the cause. There are a few in the library that require 3.2 or higher and will cause 3.1 to fail to launch.
