Been meaning to learn Zbrush for quite some time. Im an architecture student during the year, but now that I have the time to learn something new, I got Zbrush 3 and have been playing with it for the last few days while watching as many tutorials as I can find. Here is my first sculpted face from a zsphere. Any hints would be great. Thanks

This is my first ZBrush model, I have no 3D background, have messe with Rhino… Started this skull in MudBox and then continued in ZBrush 3 as it was only made available to me a day ago…
Please if there are any DVD’s available as tutorials, could someone please let me know, as our lines are poor in Namibia and download times take forever…

I used to texture in Zbrush 2 but never sculpted something (it feels like i couldnt make something nice). But i am very happy with the feel of zbrush 3. It gave me some self-confidence to try sculpting :D. So here are my 2 first models :).

anny good tut how to learn zbrush3
I just asked this over in the Digital Tutors forums. They said that there should be a new training video out soon that covers the new features of ZB3. Keep an eye out for Meats Meyer’s new one too over at The Gnomon Workshop. Their site says it’s coming out June 20th.
If you’re eager to learn now though, I suggest starting with the the videos they both have for ZBrush 2. The same basic workflow still applies to ZBrush 3, just without the newer features. Gnomon’s running a 20% off sale until May 31st on anything having to do ZBrush, so now would be the time to get it.
Ive got a copy of the ZBrush / Maya Pipeline DVD Im looking to get rid of cheap if you’re interested.

This is my very first attempt at Zbrush, learning while i work. still hadnt got the hang of adding textures or paint effects by then.
this is my first work in zb3 i love the new program, the texturing is great and sculpting in my opinion is a lot faster, this is a troll´s head i will be animating it in maya later on for now i´ve only done the color and part of the sculpting (wanted some feedback before i´m done) hope you´ll like it
