Today the 30,000th message was posted here in the ZBrush Forum.

In the ten months since ZBC first opened, you’ve all made it a great place for ZBrush resources – helpful information, constructive feedback, supportive atmosphere, and useful tools, materials, textures and ZScripts. We’ve all benefited, and it’s been delightful to watch everyone’s artistic skills develop and increase. Many of you have posted messages expressing pride, support and gratitude, and it’s been rewarding to participate in such a community!

Let’s mark this occasion by taking a look back … take a moment to recall your favorite thread or two from the last ten months, and post their URL’s here in this topic. Think of threads which were fun to participate in, or especially informative, and share them with us.
For example, the AlphaCentury thread. A popular topic which continues to grow, revisit the thread and see the recently-updated AlphaCentury Gallery.

a hard choice! here is one of my all-time-favs: “The Spell” by WingedOne very inspiring, imho!!! (previous stages in other threads but accessible from there :))

it’s the recent grounbreaking improvements that have impressed me. I vote for the Texturemaster and materialPack threads. although I haven’t used the latter at all, the former is an inspiration in its own right.

Here are my personal favorites. Now don’t go getting a swelled head, Glen – it’s difficult to go about your day to day life when you can’t fit your head through the door.

Second Coming – an amazing modeling job and a great look at the future.
Smokin Orc – An excellent tutorial on TextureMaster.
Bumping the Orc – Goes beyond the TextureMaster on the same project.
Lips and Tips – Rounds out the head finishing techniques.

Finally: Wow! Hard to believe that just a few months ago we were cheering 10,000 posts. The pace is picking up!

I haven’t post much I’m afraid since I registered in April 2001 but I visit this plays SEVERAL times a day, just because I like it here…

There are so many nice threads here but my favourite must be this one:

Pixolator’s head tutorial

Favourite thread has to be Pixolator’s 3D Felt Drawing tutorial which I found an eye opener.3D Collage Drawing
I would love to see more 2.5d painting threads like this one,as I think it’s an aspect of ZBrush not covered enough.

But there’s been so many wonderful tutorials it’s hard to pick.

Aurick’s postings always open my eyes to new possibilities.
Then there’s all the marvellous teachers exemplary artists and sharers of their personal knowledge and Zscripts too numerous to mention, but who’s presence and assistance both personally and to the Forum has made this wee home on the web a joy to visit.

Other favourite moments have been the occasional skirmishes although I wouldn’t like to see too many ,just enough to add pepper !

Wow! 30,000! It’s getting harder and harder to keep up with all the posting going on here. I get new favorites all the time, because of all the refinements in the scripting and new techniques.

Congratulations Pix for such a successful creation.
