Zbrush file startup?

I went trough forum a little bit in search for an answer, but couldn’t find it, or maybe, I just searched in the wrong places.

So I have a question about zbrush.
It’s not really serious, but I think it is interesting enough to be asked.

Why zbrush files dont carry zbrush icon, and , why when I double click on them, why dont they start the application.

I tried changing the open with/browse program propertie, but, it doesn’t offer this option.
Tried to change the zbrush file into txt, and then gave instruction, open with, zbrush.exe, no succes.
My knowledge of scripting and programing is really poor, im nearly a designer and artist by call.

Anyway, it would be interesting to hear an opinion on this part.

Cheers!

Message deleted. I misunderstood your question.

If I remember correctly the files have the zbrush icon but I can’t remember if I can double click them and have the model open in zbrush.
I’ll check it out when I go back home and let you know

there are no icons and yes, they don’t open when you double click them. as of now there is no way for that to work, although you can assign icons through the folder options file types menu in windows, of course you need to make your own icon

Big thx for such ultra fast reply, Im amazed

Allthough, it doesnt seem so complicated from my ignorant point of view, to have files associated to the application, or Im terribly wrong??
It would be nice small feature, I think.

Anyway, thx again for endulging my curiosity!!

Cheers!

i doubt its complicated at all but has more to do with some sort of corruption or error avoidance by not having zbrush startup that way
