hey guys, can anyone link me to really good info about the new fiber zbrush stuff? i have been unable to locate any good tutorials or videos showing how to use it, i really want to make leaves and grass with it. thanks guys.
Joe, have you looked at the stuff on the pixo site? It’s mostly pretty basic, but it does give you a good overview on how to get started tweaking. I’ve been making really extensive use of fibers in two of my latest sculpts, and most of it was done starting out with the presets and tweaking them to my liking before accepting them. I’ve only done a couple of sculpts using fibers for hair, but I was pretty satisfied with it for that use too. If you like, take a look at the last few pages of my thread linked in my sig. And like I said, play with the settings on the presets to get a good idea of what everything does. My theory is that fibermesh hasn’t been around long enough for anyone to do a major tutorial on the subject, besides which everyone is too busy playing with them to do one!
