ZBrush exports meshes inverted?

I have been having a few various problems with my models and I could not figure out why… well I just figured out why lol, and it is because ZBrush is exporting them inverted for some reason? The polygons are on the “inside” of the mesh instead of the outside.

This is happening with either new meshes I am making with mesh extraction, or whenever I am using Retopology.

Is there any way in ZBrush that I can flip them over automatically?

Or will it not hurt anything inside of ZBrush, and should I just flip them in my other applications when I bring them in?

Thanks!

it doesn’t hurt a thing.

but if it bothers you
tool>display properties>flip

This does not work very well at all. When I do this, it deletes all but the highest subdivision level…

I think it may actually be giving me a problem as well…

I am using this guide - http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Transferring_textures - to import the new UVs I have made. Problem is, there is some distortion when I try to go above subdiv level 1. Only change I have made to the model (aside from UV’s) is I have flipped the polys… I have not touched the Verts at all. I even loaded them on top of eachother in XSI to make sure.
