Zbrush eating my Hard drive space

I am working through some tutorials and after a couple of hours I get a message that my hard drives is critically low on space. I have over 450 gigs available and the only way I have been able to clear this is to shut down reboot and run clean disk. I have tried deleting quick save file but this does not clear the problem.

I am using 4R6 if someone could tell me what setting I need to change or what I need to do to stop this happening I would really appreciate it ty.

If you’ve been working that long, non-stop it’s possible that your Undo History is simply getting too big. And if you’re saving as a Project instead of simply a Tool, then that would explain why the problem persists after you restart ZBrush and load the project again. See what happens if you click Edit >> DelUH.

You can also adjust the undo history settings in the Preferences >> Undo History sub-palette.
