Zbrush... Dynamesh + Retopology = Models good for Animation?

Mayby is a dumb question but:
Hello i am very new in this of the 3D and i want to know if i can use Dynamesh to create my models and retopo it for not choke my animation program in this case Cinema4D.

I can do that?

Any Suggestions??

I am very lost in the term of modeling :S

Thank you!!!

Yup. Retopologizing is where you create new edgeloops over top of an existing model, so you can make animation-friendly models at that stage.

thank you very much man  i have another problem :S

I made a model with dynamesh and when i was to retopologizing it with Qremesher i can not “Freeze Subdivition levels” to mantain the details and my model was a mess xD

can you help me with that? :o

sorry for so many questions U.u

thank you for your previous answer

It would probably be better to duplicate your model before running qremesher. Then you’ll still have the original sculpt handy, and you can project its detail back using the Subtool palette instead of trying to freeze it (or if you dont want to worry about projecting any geometry, just export both models to a program like xnormal and bake your maps there).

:open_mouth: thanks a lot
And you think that will work for use my model for animation? :open_mouth: i hope :S
I will do that you say me and tell you how were going  thank you very much  :+1:

Yup. As long as the edgeflow of the retopologized mesh is good, then you’re good to go. Its standard practice for things like games.

thank you very much i will show you my progress when its done
