Can anyone help me with a problem I’m having with Dynamesh extract.
I’m trying to extract one tool from another but it just adds it instead.
I’ve tried extracting a primitive and that works but a complex tool extract just adds to the first mesh.
Any tips what I am doing wrong?

I think your polycount of the subtracting tool is higher than the tool you are subtracting from. A quick Zremesh on the tool you are subtracting should sort this out for you. Or increase the polycount of the main tool, so it has more polys than the subtracting tool. Hope that all makes sense.
