zbrush crashes while using zsketch - out of memory

Hi,

im using zsketch for the whole design process and modelling. maybe the models are a bit heavy, i dont know. sometimes when i forget to press the optimize button zbrush crashes without any warnings (well there is an info but then its too late). “out of memory”. how to avoid something like that? there is no 64bit support or autosave :frowning:
i have lost many hours of work. im wondering if im the only one here.

i use:
AMD phenom 2 940 (@3.4ghz)
4gb ram
Windows XP 32bit sp3

Hey Aurick,

matthew from the support gave me an advice but it didnt help. it sounded very good but zbrush still crashes. he wrote that my preference are the problem.
i changed the compact mem to 2000 and undo tool to 4.

do you have an idea?

ps: maybe i really have to switch to w7 64bit?!?
