zbrush crashed but still opened... (quite urgent)

hey guys,

sorry for the messy post but I need to go as quick as possible.

i´ve been working on a model in zbrush for a while (around 2 hours) without saving (I know, my fault) and suddenly zbrush crashed and windows gave me an error message.

i´m running vista so right now i´ve got zbrush still opened with the half transparent white layer on top of it. is there any way to save that before zbrush closes completely?? any temp file somewhere or anything? I´ve tried to look for solutions in the forums and in google but couldn´t find any way (probably cuz there is no way :frowning: ) but I had to try one last time.

Oh man… I feel for you. I suspect you’re out of luck. :cry:

Get yourself a little kitchen timer and set it for 10 mins. SAVE AND VERSION UP everytime it goes off. This is what I tell my students.

thanks mate :slight_smile: it´s funny cuz I just thought that a while ago while I was typing the post :stuck_out_tongue: that´s what i´ll do… but it´s a shame I gotta lose all my morning work. anyway… i´ll start again tomorrow.
