Congrats on the top row, its well deserved and long overdue.
mindblowingâŠ
I was just wondering when someone would successfully transfer 3d models to the inked comic book look. this is the most amazing transformation since superruneâs the hellboy comic film. if you dont know about it I strongly suggest to watch this:

it is a really hard job because inking can go a long way from expressing facial expressions to dramatic lighting and sometimes hiding unwanted details in style. you just have to put those dark spots in the right place or it wont work.
it is very obvious that you really know what you are doing.
I dont recognize any cg-ness in your ink style.
keep it up man . this is just awesome. once you have a library of poses and props the possibilities are endless. in my mind this is a perfect way to produce comics and story telling.
thanx mavinova I didn t know about the hellboy comic film. It is well done.
And you are right about the ink. It is very important to make them right. My goal is indeed to stay away from classic cg renders.
âŠof the glory!
These images are beautyful and it is very hard to note that is CG: the overrall look is absolutely âcomicâ⊠and what a comic! small_orange_diamond

Awesome work!
I already thought about creating some kind of 3D-Comic too, but in the end, i was wondering if this isnât much more time consuming than simply draw one.
Because first, you have to create all you models in 3D, and than you have to pose them and create facial expressions for almost every new panel, render it out and so on. I think this would take a lot more time than quickly drawing and painting itâŠ
Of course it looks great, but if you donât intend to have a CGI-look, and to have it more comic-look based, why donât you draw it if you can save a lot of time with it, and have it look like almost the same as if created in 3D?
Can I just say that this is amazing. I just creamed my pants. (Can i say that), MY PANTS HAVE BEEN CREAMED ON HOW THIS IS SO AWESOME. Cant wait to see the future of this. Keep up the excellent work.
awesome!! really great characters and the design style congratz
very very nice.
@cause I can t draw:D
Man! is very good, the details of the clothes and the renders are very goodâŠ
just need to make the scenarios in Zbrush.
When the comic comes out Iâll buy⊠great art.!!
man is very good, the details of clothing and renders are good.
⊠Now we just need the scenarios in Zbrush.
when the comic is coming out? I will buy âŠ
Absolutely brilliant! This is no doubt the future of comics. Well done!
Lol good reason, but I find that hard to believe, coz with your skills it looks like youâve got strong foundation
But I guess drawing is just another medium that needs mastering like any other, and if anything u are master of Zbrush medium thatâs for sure.
(Similarly I canât draw so I can see where youâre coming from, theyâre just different mediums and each person finds his own way that he can express his creativity best I guess)
@Darukin: You 've said it all , every one has to find its medium.
I did a lot of drawing but it never got to the level I wanted.
Then I worked on classic software and got frustrated.
Because of ZB, I can do whatever I want. No limits.
