ZBrush Blueprints!

Hey guys!

Short simple question:

“Is it possible to add blueprints in ZBrush?”

I think this should be a great convenience.

Do you mean watermarks, or something else…?

If so, not as far as I know… but it would be great!

you can add watermarks in Zbrush…easy actually. I have them in my vids that I dump straight from Zbrush. and in anywork you can use the 2.5D tools to get a watermark on the image before you export.

If he’s talking about actual blueprints though…like a CAD file…I have no idea.

Not sure what you mean either. If you mean importing a .dwg or Autocad file try exporting it as an .obj, then ZBrush will open it.

I think this is what he’s looking for:

Ok, with blueprints i mean a picture/image from an already existing Object.
For example, i will create a car or a human, but not any car. I would like to create the BMW Z4 and this with the exactly measures. So i need a picture from this car. In Autodesk Maya it is also called blueprints, this blueprints i can import with image planes.

I think what jramauri was posted is the right one! Thank you!
