Hi all,
I have a buddy who wants me to edit an old ZTL document from the glory days of Zbrush 2. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to open the file in Zbrush 4. Is ZB4 not backwards compatible with ZB2 files, or am I doing something wrong?
If ZB4 isn’t backwards compatible, does anybody know of a download link for the trial version of ZB2? I’d really appreciate it.

Your not doing anything wrong. Just tried it here with some of my old tools and they also will not open. In fact it crashed zbrush on osx completely after throwing up the error.
Shame really as I would like to have revisited some of them.

see if u can bring it into zb4 and then bring the zb4 file into 4.2
with all the issues im still having atm im glad i didnt overwrite all my zb4 files cause there may be times i want stability instead of new features…
though the new render tools and the fact cavity automasking is working again make me willing enough to deal with the grr moments
I don’t have ZB4.2, I only have ZB4.
In any case, I really appreciate the responses. I’ll see if I can find a working trial of ZB2.
