Zbrush and SSDs

I’m finally installing a solid state drive on my Zbrush machine, but am concerned about the effects of Zbrush’s constant writing to disk on the drive in terms of wear and tear. What are people’s experiences with this? Anything I should be aware of? Should I keep the old HDD around to handle all of Zbrush’s virtual memory functions?

Thanks for any advice!

I don’t think it should be any problem. SSd are a lot faster than normal hard drives in a lot of operations. From integrity is at least the same, even they has a lot less failures than a normal hard drive in the first months.
