ZBrush and Snow Leopard

I am wondering if ZBrush 4 will have any issues with Snow Leopard when it is released. Is there a possibility ZBrush will not run on Snow Leopard when it is released or is Pixologic working with Apple to mitigate any potential problems?

Aurick, can you please tell me if Pixologic is making the necessary changes needed so ZBrush works with Snow Leopard?

Thanks

We cannot discuss system requirements or compatibility at this time.

Thanks I understand. I hope ZBrush and Snow Leopard play nice together!

It’s here!

Oh Wow! and its got
More reliable disk eject.

I have been so waiting for this. Thanks for letting us know.

I want to backup my current Leopard installation and then do a clean install of Snow Leopard. What do I need to do with ZBrush to ensure a smooth changeover. Should I deactivate the current installation and then install and activate again or could I just copy back the zbrush installation folders from my backup ?

Thanks,

Richard

Alright, with Snow Leopard finally here I was wondering if Pixologic can confirm if the ZB3.2 is actually compatible with Snow Leopard. I’d hate to go through the installation process and end up with ZBrush problems on the other end.

How about it guys?

Haha, I was just about to post the exact same question

FWIW

Says it’s “OK”.

Excellent, thanks!

Im wondering the same… will zbrush 3.2 osx work on snow leopard?

Yes, for some reason they’ve merged a thread asking if ZB3.2 will work with OS10.6 with a thread about ZB4. The link posted by Cometsoft says 3.2 works OK with Snow Leopard.
