I’m a frequent user of ZBrush 3 and Max 8 and am currently using Windows XP. I’m planning to get a new computer with Vista (64 bit). Can anyone verify that Vista can run these applications? Are there any necessary drivers or service packs, or should they run upon installation? Thanks!
I run ZBrush on a 64-bit Vista installation. The only thing you need to do is before first launching ZBrush, browse to its folder and right-click on the executable. Choose “Run as Administrator” from the context menu. This option isn’t available for shortcuts, which is why you need to locate the actual executable.
What does that doe for you Aurick? I have had no problem just running the programme from the instaull in the start menu. I am running Vista 64 Home.
