I’m thinking of getting a new vid card and was wondering if anyone has had any issues using an ATi card. 4870 or 4850 to be precise. I’m more of an NVidia guy but my new mobo is having fits with my 9800GX2. It’s a crossfire ready board and although I never planned to go SLi with the GX2 if I’m going to change cards I might as well keep my options open.
ZBrush doesn’t use the graphics card. It’s software-rendered. The only time the graphics card comes into play is with ZMapper, which only requires OpenGL support.
