ZBrush 4R6 P2 Dynamesh Problems

Since upgrading to Zbrush 4R6 (p2) im seeing some strange behaviour from dynamesh,

it seems like the resolution breaks some times?

iv had this happen on a few separate scenes, where changing the resolution slider just makes no difference. Iv tried scaling up and down the subtool internally and externally with no luck in changing the results(or lack of). the 3rd pillar to the right also has a slash added to it to see if it wasnt picking up changes in the mesh but no luck there.

in the screenshot above, i reverted the dynamesh operation between each resolution test.

This is on a PC with Win7 64bit, 16gb ram and plenty of HD space for the page files etc (300gb+)

any ideas?

I sometimes get the same problem as here described:

I just saw it again when dynameshing a visible part of a subtool with hidden other subtool-parts. Dynameshing the complete subtool gave no problems. Groups was deactivated and projrct was activated.

I also have seen some other problems:
1.
When using Dynamesh on a subtool with several polygroups, some of them connected together, some individual, sometimes only from the separate polygroups the groups are conserved but the connecting polygroups get into one new group.
I figured out when this happens: Look to Nr. 3
2.
The new behaviour of dynameshing (connection between polygroups remains intact when the project-button is on and the groups button is on) not always works. Sometimes the groups unweld as in 4R5
3.
When Dynameshing multiple polygroups without “Groups” activated but “Polypaint-Colorize” activated, the resulting Dynamesh consists of only one polygroup. Colorize deactivated before dynameshing gives the desired result with preserving the multiple polygroups of the subtool.

when i set resolution to 512 sometimes it give me more points than when resolution is set to 1024 i feel like on lottery with it.
