In 1998 I needed multiple App’s to model,map,texture a mesh.2013 I need zBrush and ah well… zBrush Rocks ,Thanks.

I just updated to P1. Is there a list of fixes or additions?

The best software I have ever purchased. Incredible. Thank you Pixologic!

Clearly Alien technology! The crew is definitely not from around here 8).
Zbrush is so far ahead of the crowd, it’s blowing my mind for years now…

Thanks again for your generosity and the best wishes
Rainer

I’m having a hard time seeing the difference between the new crease brush and the clip brushes. I looked at the Whats New pdf and couldn’t get much out of it. Has anyone had any success with it?

I just tried Zremesher - I’m pretty impressed. The new solution is a big improvement on the qremesher results. It feels like we’re just a few steps away from an auto topology solution that can reliably provide animation ready meshes. That’s a little bit of a pipe dream I think, but maybe not too far off the truth either. Great work guys.

You sly and ever-so fiendishly clever Foxes. I doff my cap. Bravo on such outstanding additions.

cool but I just wanted a 64-bit version of Zbrush.

We all do but that has to be a tricky gig to do considering a 64 bit version would open up all the RAM you can have and that would slow your system to a crawl no matter how powerful the cpu and ram is if you had trillions of polys which could be done if there no limitation.

I’d still take my chances.

I am just bummed that I cant play for awhile because I am on XP and will have to upgrade my OS…
I have enjoyed the updates for free since version 2.0…Just surprised me…

Just to give other Zbrush-ers some perspective on how fortunate we are.
In July 2007 I bought Zbrush 3 for $489.00
since then we have gotten ZBrush 3, 3.1, 3.5, 3.5r2, 3.5r3, 4, 4r2 & 4r2b, 4r3, 4r4, 4r5, 4r6!

That’s 12 improvements and approximately $5,868 worth of goodness!

Beautiful update:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

You guys rock!

Thank you Pixologic for the best software investment ever.

I have actually bought Zbrush 2.5 for even less in 2005/2006. And although I also think a 64 bit version is long overdue, all possible “complaints” aside, Pixologic is absolutely second to none in terms of user base support and value for money.

It really needs to be said again and again, because sometimes it’s easy to forget when missing this or that feature or struggling with a bug. All other commercial 3d packages also have their bugs and weaknesses, but unlike with Zbrush you pay lots of cash for major updates and then it’s often not that ‘major’ at all.

Pixologic sure is a very unique company with a genuine passion for what they do.

it’s not only that , if you compare the features that are packed in those upgrades compared to other application upgrades… it’s insane. It’s almost an entirely different program from 2.5.

The above and the fact that ZBrush is one darn fine app are two reasons why it’s one of the very few apps I have no regrets over purchasing.

Thanks Pixologic and everyone for continuing this great series of updates!

sooo anyone else seeing this…

I’ve tried transpose master on a couple of my models and they’ve turned into a single hexagon when i t-posed out. They worked fine in 4r5. Just wondering if is just me.

I’m not talking trillions or billions of polys for one subtool. Zbrush has ram problems with a 10 millon poly mesh some times.

I’m just saying it would be very easy to get carried away and get to that polycount. Like I said I’d take my chances though.
