ZBrush 4R4 : TransposeSmartMask brush broken after upgrading to 4R4?

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded to zBrush 4R4 at my college pc and after trying the TransposeSmartMask brush I noticed that it doesn’t quite work the way I knew it. It seems like it doesnt mask things the smart way as it used to do in R3
Here’s an image to show what happens. I started in the middle of the object and expected the mask to stop when the edges are reached but the mask just expands over to the other side as if I used the normal transpose brush and not the TransposeSmartMask.

Please, can you explain me what happens here?

The ‘Brush Modifier’ slider was not set correctly in that brush. With ‘TransposeSmartMask’ brush selected, go to ‘Brush > Modifiers’ and change the ‘Brush Modifier’ slider to 100 and resave the brush. The brush is in the ‘ZBrush 4R4/ZData/BrushPresets’ folder.
