ZBrush 4R2: NoiseMaker doesn't allow to type values in. Answered.

In the new NoiseMaker I can’t type a desired value by keys but it only allows me to use the sliders.
So it’s often impossible to reach a precise value.

And it’s inconsistent to the prevailing gui handling in ZBrush.

I guess it’s a bug and should be fixed.

The complete NoiseMaker module has not yet been released.
It will be released separately, and when it does, you’ll be able to use the key pad to enter precise values.

Oh, okay!

And I thought just the generator plugin (NoisePlug) isn’t released yet and so the Offset-, Angle- and Scale-Slider are of no use for now because the classic noise and also the use of textures with all the related values (Scale, Strength, ColorBlend, Focal Shift, Offset, Noise and the Noise Curve) work already.

Take a look at the screenshot to see what I’m talking about.

You just can’t set these values with the keybord but only by moving the sliders.

But if this behaviour gets fixed with the NoisePlug I can live with that so long.
(I hope it will be releaesd soon! ;))
