Zbrush 4 - Hardware Question

Hey Guys,

Opening a thread here with a few questions about the appropriate hardware suitable to run Zbrush.

Long story short, I’m planning to buy a new workstation dedicated mostly for 3d modelling, animation and rendering. Other software like Photoshop, Blender among others, are going to be the primarily software run on this new rig.
My question is related to the fact I wish to get the most out of my hardware while using Zbrush, and try to make the right decisions to pick the right components.

To give you an idea, the workstation I have in mind as a base line, will be a dual xeon, Silver 4110 2.2GHZ 10 cores (20 Threads) with 32GB of RAM.

I’ve read on the official website of Zbrush that it “uses mostly the CPU to run the calculations” for example: while using the brushes, apply modifications to geometry, baking textures, rendering and so on.

So, my question here to some of you guys who have experience:

will Zbrush use a single CPU and all the threads/cores of one single physical CPU? or Zbrush will take advantage of all the physical CPUS (Cores and Threads) available on the system when performing operations?
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I’m kinda of a noob here in terms of how zbrush works internally.

Thank you! I’ll appreciate you suggestions.

I think supports multiple threads/cores
